Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and state-of-the-art dental care. We are sensitive to your needs as a patient; you can always count on receiving individual attention from our doctor and staff.

Your first visit will include a comprehensive examination which is standard for the first visit and every 3-5 years thereafter.

• 2 hours for adults
• 1 hour for children under 16

Your comprehensive exam starts with

• Reviewing your immediate concerns and long-term goals for your teeth
• A thorough medical and
• Dental history

What will be done 

• Any appropriate x-rays
• Digital photographs so you can see your teeth
• Evaluatrions of your chewing muscles and TMJ area
• Oral cancer screening
• Inspection of your teeth, tooth by tooth
• A complete periodontal examination

When you leave you will have all the information you need to know the state of your mouth's health.  

A treatment plan and plan options will be designed with you. You will have had the comprehensive exam, intra-oral x rays, professional cleaning and polishing, oral hygiene instructions, oral cancer screening, a periodontal diagnosis and treatment plan.

Whether you decide to proced with a definitive treatment plan via comprehensive dentistry or decide to sequence treatment in the future, you will leave our office with the sure knowledge of your mouth's overall health.
