Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and state-of-the-art dental care. We are sensitive to your needs as a patient; you can always count on receiving individual attention from our doctor and staff.
Your first visit will include a comprehensive examination which is standard for the first visit and every 3-5 years thereafter.
- 2 hours for adults
- 1 hour for children under 16
Your comprehensive exam starts with
- Reviewing your immediate concerns and long-term goals for your teeth
- A thorough medical and
- Dental history
What will be done
- Any appropriate x-rays
- Digital photographs so you can see your teeth
- Evaluatrions of your chewing muscles and TMJ area
- Oral cancer screening
- Inspection of your teeth, tooth by tooth
- A complete periodontal examination
When you leave you will have all the information you need to know the state of your mouth's health.
A treatment plan and plan options will be designed with you. You will have had the comprehensive exam, intra-oral x rays, professional cleaning and polishing, oral hygiene instructions, oral cancer screening, a periodontal diagnosis and treatment plan.
Whether you decide to proced with a definitive treatment plan via comprehensive dentistry or decide to sequence treatment in the future, you will leave our office with the sure knowledge of your mouth's overall health.
